Return to Griffin Mountain

Second session of the classic Chaosium campaign pack Griffin Mountain will be on Sunday 27th November, at 1800 GMT (13.00 EST, 12.00 CST). Come to scenic Balazar, go big game hunting and try not to get eaten by sabretooth tigers.

Rules: A somewhat tweaked version of RQ2, contact me and I'll send you the details.

GM: Barry Blatt (who looks remarkably like The Mekon, arch-nemesis of Dan Dare)

Hellenistic Frankenquest

Jeremy Duncan over at Dandy in the Underworld is planning what he describes as a Hellenistic Franquest--some sort of crazy mashup of Runequest, Stormbringer, Elric!, Call of Cthulhu, along with odds and ends from Pendragon and WFRP. It will be a location based game, like Jeff Rient's Caves of Myrddin game. Jeremy is planning on setting it a generation after the death of Alexander the Great, but with more of a swords and sorcery vibe than a straight historical approach.
